I.V. iron: Serious adverse events in chronic kidney disease

KEY POINT

Use of I.V. iron compared with oral iron in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are not on dialysis was associated with an increased risk of serious cardiovascular events and infections resulting in hospitalizations, according to primary results from the REVOKE study.
