H. pylori treatment and dietary supplements associated with better gastric cancer outcomes

KEY POINT

A study recently published in BMJ showed that Helicobacter pylori treatment, as well as vitamin and garlic supplementation, were associated with reduced risk of death due to gastric cancer. H. pylori treatment and vitamin supplementation, but not garlic supplementation, were also associated with reduced incidence of gastric cancer.
