Large vitamin D analysis suggests no skeletal, heart, or cancer benefits

KEY POINT

Vitamin D supplements, given with or without calcium, did not reduce skeletal or non-skeletal outcomes by more than 15% in community-dwelling patients according to a recent analysis. Authors concluded that future trials are unlikely to show additional benefits.
