Vitamin D: No benefit in postmenopausal women
KEY POINT
Use of high- or low-dose vitamin D supplementation in postmenopausal women with vitamin D deficiency resulted in no additional benefits compared with placebo in bone mineral density, muscle function, muscle mass, or falls, according to data published in the October issue of JAMA Internal Medicine.
