Combining anticoagulant with NSAIDs or aspirin raises bleeding risk in VTE

KEY POINT

In patients with venous thromboembolism (VTE) receiving anticoagulation, concomitant use of NSAIDs or aspirin increased the risk of clinically relevant and major bleeding, according to a recent study.
