Statins for primary prevention: The debate goes on

KEY POINT

Dyslipidemia treatment in patients with intermediate-risk coronary heart disease (CHD) is becoming increasingly complex based on potential benefits and safety concerns with statins. In recent point–counterpoint articles, experts made cases for and against use of statins in this setting.
