More frequent hemodialysis associated with decreased CV mortality

KEY POINT

According to a landmark study recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine, increasing the frequency of in-center hemodialysis from three to six times per week may improve cardiovascular (CV) health by slowing hemodialysis-associated increases in left ventricular mass.
