Topical capsaicin may be an option for severe vomiting associated with cannabis use

KEY POINT

Topical use of capsaicin for cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) resulted in fewer overall medications used and fewer opioid requirements, according to results of a retrospective, observational study published in Clinical Toxicology.
