Survey says: 'Yes' to pharmacogenetic testing as long as confidentiality maintained

KEY POINT

In a phone survey of public attitudes toward pharmacogenetic (PGx) testing, individuals overwhelmingly expressed an interest in PGx tests, but most respondents indicated that they were not likely to have a test if there was a risk that their DNA might be shared without permission.
