Adolescent Adherence with ADHD Meds: Products Differ

KEY POINT

For enhancing adherence and persistence with medication therapy for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) among adolescents, simplification of dosing regimens is an important element, according to a just-published review. Among stimulant products, a recent analysis of Medicaid prescription claims shows significant differences in adherence measures.
