Is risperidone appropriate as add-on therapy in pediatric ADHD?

KEY POINT

A recent study showed that the addition of risperidone to parent training and stimulant medication reduced some symptoms in children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD)/conduct disorder (CD), and severe physical aggression, although the effect sizes varied widely.
