Incorrect inhaler technique still an issue

KEY POINT

An assessment of 40 years of inhalation technique in more than 50,000 patients treated with a metered dose inhaler (MDI) or a dry powder inhaler (DPI) showed that poor inhalation technique occurred in about one-third of patients, prompting the need for more education on proper use, according to results of a large systematic review published in CHEST.
