Knee osteoarthritis: Intra-articular treatments beat acetaminophen, NSAIDs
KEY POINT
According to a recent study, acetaminophen did not provide a clinically significant decrease in knee osteoarthritis (OA)–related pain. Instead, intra-articular (IA) hyaluronic acid provided the highest degree of pain relief.
