Rheumatoid arthritis: Updated treatment guideline released

KEY POINT

The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) released a new guideline for the management of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that includes recommendations on a treat-to-target approach; use of traditional disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologics, and vaccines; and treatment of high-risk populations.
